In 1967, DOXA launched the revolutionary SUB concept, considered the first truly purpose-built diving watch accessible to a wider audience. The radical innovations it introduced at the time soon made it the reference point for professionals as well.
Water resistant to 30 bar, approximately equivalent to a depth of 300 metres, it was the first to feature a unidirectional bezel with a dual scale for depth and dive time to calculate a safe ascent without decompression stops. Most radical of all: the orange dial that greatly improved underwater legibility.

The SUB 300's 42.5mm case is made of the highest quality 316L stainless steel. The three-hand automatic movement has the prestigious COSC Certified Chronometer certification which guarantees precision, robustness and reliability. It also provides a power reserve of 38 hours.
The date window is located at 3 o'clock. The SUB 300 naturally incorporates the famous unidirectional rotating bezel, DOXA patent, with double indication of the dive time in minutes and the depth in meters to calculate dive times with decompression without stops. With a screw-down crown, its water resistance is rated at 300 meters or approximately 980 feet.

As a nod to its heritage, today's SUB 300 is topped with a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment. It has the same domed shape as the plexiglass of the 1967 original.
All diving-related markings feature a Super-LumiNova® luminescent coating to ensure excellent readability in low visibility conditions.

Starting in 2020, the SUB 300 will be available in 7 colors. It can be ordered with the iconic “rice bead” stainless steel bracelet or with a sporty rubber strap, with distinctive DOXA details on both sides, matching the color of the dial. The rubber strap folding clasp features the exclusive DOXA fish symbol and has an adjustable dive extension to fit the thickness of a wetsuit.
